Adhesives

In principle, a wide variety of different adhesives can be used for KVH^® structural timber. However, these days only two types of adhesives are used (PUR, MUF). The advantage of these adhesive systems is that they harden quickly and produce transparent glued joints. The glued joints are extremely thin (approx. 0.1-0.3 mm), and the adhesives are very resistant to chemical influences. As a general rule, manufacturers of KVH^® structural timber tend to use just one type of adhesive.
