2    Purpose and legal basis for data processing

To the extent that personal data are available to us, we use these data solely for transfer of information to you or to respond to your requests, depending on the purpose for which you have provided these data to us. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 a) and f), for member also Art. 6 Para. 1 b) and f) DGSVO.

3    Recording of data

3.1    General
When you contact us by e-mail or using a contact form on our website, the data you share (your e-mail address, if applicable your name and telephone number) are stored by us to answer your questions. These personal data are forward to third parties or otherwise transmitted only if this is necessary to address your requests, as well as in cases for which you have given your expressed consent to this forwarding in advance.

Überwachungsgemeinschaft Konstruktionsvollholz e.V. has contracted Strait GmbH, Vreden, with the maintenance and service of its website and Heibach Kommunikationstechnik, Wuppertal with the upkeep and maintenance of its IT infrastructure. Any original use or processing of personal data in the sense of order processing in accordance with Art. 4 No. 8 DGSVO is not part of its services. However, access to your personal data cannot be ruled out during the provision of services.
We delete accruing data once retention is no longer necessary or its processing is restricted if there are legal obligations for its storage.

3.2    Data transmitted by the browser when you visit our website
When you visit our website, that is if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we collect only data that your server transmits to us. These data are technically required for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security (the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO):

  • IP address
  • Date and time of your request
  • Time zone difference relative to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (specific pages)
  • Any transmitted data quantity
  • Website, from which the request originated
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of your browser software

3.3    Use of cookies
Our website sometimes uses what are known as cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies are used to make our service more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores and files on your computer.
Most cookies we use are what are known as "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the conclusion of your visit. Other cookies remain on your device until they are deleted. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser when you next visit us.

3.4   Contact requests
We process your address and telecommunication data you shared via a contact form or in an email request, for example, initially to respond to your contact request (Art.6 Para.1 a) and f) or b) and f) DSGVO). Obligatory information is necessary to be able to contact you. Unsolicited data you provide facilitates our communication with you.
After responding to the request for contact, we typically store your data processed for these purposes for three months in case of further requests, unless it involves commercial or business correspondence, in which case we retain the data in accordance with the legal regulations (§§ 147 AO (Fiscal Code), 257 HGB (German Commercial Code),
Art.6 Para.1 c DGSVO).

3.5    Use of Matomo (previously Piwik)
This website uses the web analysis service Matomo to analyse the use of our website and regularly improve it. The statistics collected allow us to improve our services and make your user experience more interesting. The legal basis for the use of Matomo is Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO.
This analysis uses cookies stored on your computer. Information collected in this way is retained by the responsible party exclusively on its server in [Germany]. You can set options for these analyses by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent storage of cookies, please note that you may not be able to use the full extent of this website. You can prevent the storage of cookies in your browser settings. You can prevent the use of Matomo by removing the following brackets and thereby activating the opt out plug-in: [Matomo iFrame].
This website uses Matomo with the "AnonymizeIP" extension. This means IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form to prevent them being directly linked to an individual. The IP address transmitted from your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data we collect.

4    Your rights

Pursuant to DSGVO, you have extensive rights, which you may assert at any time by contacting one of the addresses listed under Point 1.
You are entitled to assert the following rights, among other, against the party responsible for data processing:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 DSGVO)
  • Right to correction (Art. 16 DSGVO)
  • Right to deletion (Art. 17 DSGVO)
  • Right to restrict processing (Art. 18 DSGVO)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO)
  • Right to object to processing (Art. 21 DSGVO)

You have the right to revoke your declaration of consent under data privacy law at any time. Revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the processing that has taken place based on that consent up to the time of revocation.
Note that you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the data protection oversight authority.

By using one of our websites, you agree to the provisions outlined above relating to the use of data. Any future changes and/or (technical) developments to our website may necessitate a change to this data privacy statement.
